Why Stress Management  training ?

Present day life is full of hassles, deadlines, frustrations, and demands. For many people, stress is so commonplace that it has become a way of life. When you’re constantly running in emergency mode, your mind and body pay the price.

Today's technologically advanced society has been described by many as being a high-pressured and fast-paced world that is filled with uncertainty and ambiguity, a world that is oftentimes just plain stressful.

This stress-management program was developed to help individuals cope more effectively with stress and to remediate a number of specific problems associated with stressful situations. In order to achieve this goal individual and/or group programs are utilized as a means for teaching a reliable and valid method of relaxation. During these programs each individual is also assisted in making some changes in his internal reactions and behaviors toward particularly stressful situations.

Stress can be triggered by the pressures of everyday responsibilities at work and at home.Chronic stress can cause a variety of symptoms and can affect your overall health. If left unchecked, stress can have some serious long term effects on your well being.

 "Multiple studies have shown that  sudden emotional stresses — especially anger — can trigger heart attacks, arrhythmias and even sudden death. Although this happens mostly in people who already have heart disease, some people don't know they have a problem until acute stress causes a heart attack or something worse".- Amerian Psychologists' Association

Why Stress Management is necessary ?
  • Forty-three percent of all adults suffer adverse health effects from stress.
  • Seventy-five percent to 90% of all doctor's office visits are for stress-related ailments and complaints.
  • Stress can play a part in problems such as headaches, high blood pressure, heart problems, diabetes, skin conditions, asthma, arthritis, depression, and anxiety.
  • The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) declared stress a hazard of the workplace. The lifetime prevalence of an emotional disorder is more than 50%, often due to chronic, untreated stress reactions.
According to National Crime Records Bureau, atleast 35 in every one lakh people in Bangalore commit suicide. Experts say most suicide cases in the city are related to stress; people unable to cope with the stressful conditions.

Mr.A.Shanmugasundaram is a psychologist, motivational speaker and HRD trainer. He worked in Dena Bank for 33 years and retired voluntarily to involve fully in training arena. He has an academic background of  a Master’s Degree  and M.Phil Degree  in Psychology. To strengthen the knowledge and exposure on Psychology, he has added two Post Graduate Diplomas in Counselling.

Shanmugasundaram is a Certified NLP Practitioner (Neuro Linguistic Programming) certified by NFNLP, USA.  He  got trained  in Hypnosis by the experts in the field, Mr. Rushikumar Pandya and Mr. Pradeep Agarwal.  He has undergone training
on Reiki (Level 1 & 2). He has written more than 140 articles in different magazines. His speeches were broadcast  by All India Radio many times. He is delivering  powerful speeches everyday  in Shalini TV in morning shows. He is appearing often  in Raj TV (News) in Maname Maname program.  

Shanmugasundaram got his expertise in mind programming, to train to use  the power  of the mind.  He has got many awards for his excellence in  trainings like

Ø  Manidha Neya Mamani Award  from a social organization,
